Thomas C. Prescott, Jr. ("Tom") is a Co-Founder and Managing Member of Advisory Services Network, LLC ("ASN") and oversees the firm's strategic consulting and relationship management. He brings over 40 years of financial services industry and consulting experience to ASN, specializing in providing compliance, risk management, and operations services to Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs).
Tom began his career in the financial services industry in 1980 with Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, Inc., managing retail and institutional client relationships. In his earlier years as a financial professional, he observed an ongoing demand for alternative support options amongst his peers and began to seek solutions to fill that gap.
In 1987, Tom launched Prescott & Associates, a comprehensive consulting services provider to brokers, dealers, investment advisers, banks, money managers, pension plans, corporations, and securities attorneys. The evolution of Prescott & Associates led to a solutions-driven merger with another consulting firm to create Mainstay Capital Markets Consultants, Inc. ("Mainstay").
In 2010, the principals of Mainstay founded Advisory Services Network, LLC ("ASN"), which serves as a strategic partner to IARs like Jaylon Ellison.
